Leading Youth toward maturity in Catholic Christian Faith
The Youth Fusion and Infused programs is a means of providing an in-depth and well- rounded Christian nurturing experience for the students in 5th - 8th grades of our parish community. Youth Fusion and Infused are disciplined and structured programs of faith formation that emphasizes relationship with God and each other. This is achieved by utilizing a four part system; catechesis, worship skills/prayer, activity/playtime and table ministry (meal sharing).
Youth Fusion and Infused are 13 session programs that meet on Sunday afternoons beginning September through May.
Grades 5 and 6 meet from 3:00- 5:15pm.
Grades 7 and 8 meet from 4:30-6:45pm.
Parent involvement is essential and required for the program to flourish.
Students may be dropped off in front of the Community Center 10-15 minutes prior to sessions.
Early dismissal requires prior written notice. Students will be released only to parent or parent-designated adult.
Weekend cancellations can be found on channel 6, WLNS newsfeed and on the parish website.

*Praesidium: Called to Protect for Youth
Pursuant to Article 12 of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People, we are offering safe environment education and training for children and youth enrolled in Faith Formation.
We will be using the Praesidium "Called to Protect for Youth" program for students in grades 5-8. Praesidium experts carefully developed the content and conducted extensive nationwide field testing to ensure that each part is informative, well-received, and effective. "Called to Protect for Youth" teaches middle and high school students about boundaries, how to respond if someone tries to violate their boundaries, and how to tell their parent if they or their friend have been abused.
Our Praesidium session will be held on October 16 during the Youth Fusion and Infused programs. There will be a preview night for parents on Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30pm in the Community Center or privately by appointment. Call Mary Lippert for times.
