Confirmation for Adults
(18 years and older)
Confirmation is a Sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. It is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation for Catholics. It is most often associated with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Have you ever been asked to be a Godparent or would someday like to be a Godparent? Are you a baptized Catholic over the age of 18 who has not been confirmed?
If you are an adult who did not receive the sacrament of Confirmation as a youth you can still receive this special sacrament of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit with her special gifts and graces now. There will be a short set of sessions to prepare for the reception of the sacrament at the same time that the bishop comes to confirm youth or another suitable time of the year. Contact the main office for more information or to sign up.
