Our youth ministry programs for high school age students provide diverse opportunities for our youth to be involved in the church and community life. Please complete a registration form to indicate your interest in any of the activities offered for youth.
The CYC (Catholic Youth Community) meets on Sunday evenings following the 6:00 PM Mass for fellowship, faith formation and prayer.
Youth Ministry Leadership Team: Members of the Youth Leadership Team assist the Coordinator of Youth Ministry in choosing, planning and presenting a variety of events for the youth of the parish. Youth and adults serving on this team participate in Leadership Training in the summer prior to beginning this ministry.
A Youth Breakfast Bible Study group meets in the Community Center on Friday mornings at 6:30AM during the 2010/2011 school year for discussion of the Sunday readings and prayer together.
Another group will meet Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM, if 5 or more students register for this session.
Youth in Service: High school youth can choose to participate in any or all of the numerous service projects planned for youth throughout the year.
Social Activities: All high school youth of the parish are invited to participate in any social events planned by the Youth Ministry Leadership Team throughout the year.
Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Mass Coordinators and Musicians: All confirmedhigh school youth are invited and encouraged to serve as liturgical ministers. Training is provided.

Teens Dance for Those Who Can’t
Hosted by St. Joseph CYC in St. Johns.
A team of St. Jude youth are participating in this benefit hosted by St. Joe in St. Johns to raise money for R.A.V.E. (Relief After Violent Encounter) for dating violenceeducation in Clinton County schools.
Our youth have a goal of raising $1000 toward this effort and will be collecting pop cans at the entrances of the Church or will come directly to your home to pick them up. Sponsorship donations will also be greatly appreciated. Pleasesign up in the Gathering Space to have your cans collected or contact our team leader,

Ways to Share Your Gifts . . . .
Eucharistic Ministers are needed for the Sunday 11 AM Mass during the summer. Training will be provided. Contact Sue if you can be available to sub or want to be scheduled to serve.
Helpers are also needed for assisting the Developmentally Disabled Adults who celebrate 11 AM Mass with us. You could fill in for someone who is on vacation. Training is provided. Please contact Sue to volunteer.
